About Your Dedicated Provider
Jamie Gustafson, PMHNP-BC
Hi there! I’m Jamie Gustafson, a board-certified integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner. My practice is rooted in a firm belief that healing happens when we prioritize strength, hope, and individuality. I started working with Arizona families 23 years ago as a labor and delivery and perinatal bereavement nurse. Long hours and precious interactions with pregnant and post-partum women and their families inspired the next phase of my career. The past 4 years, I have had the privilege of serving our mental health community as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
My family and I are Arizona natives who love sunshine, hiking, and the dry desert heat. In 2009, my husband and I began the tedious and unnerving journey of infertility, pregnancy loss, high-risk pregnancies, and mid-life hormonal and physical imbalance. I’ve seen firsthand how deeply mental, physical, and emotional health are connected. My personal battle with anxiety, ADHD, hormone deficiencies, infertility, miscarriages, hospitalizations, and midlife transitions has shaped the way I care for each client. I know what it feels like to question God, myself, my goals, my values, and those who love me. I have experienced the disappointment of traditional medical care and the burden of knowing there must be a better way. I blend traditional psychiatry with functional medicine, personalized treatments, and holistic strategies. The fusion of science and nature has allowed me to reach my goals while maintaining my personal preferences and values.
When people ask me about my biggest challenge, my answer is always the same: “Figuring out how to get pregnant, stay pregnant, and find myself again after giving birth.”
My reproductive journey in numbers:
-
3 reproductive surgeries
-
5 miscarriages
-
4 infertility treatments
-
105 days on bed rest
-
2 healthy boys
-
8 years of wondering if new my mommy brain and body were permanent

-
15 natural and medication trials to address perimenopausal exhaustion, brain fog, metabolic instability, and anxiety.
